The best way how to get to Mochima:                           Google Map

From margarita:

- Passenger ferry, "el cacique" (clean, punctual, restrooms, TV, comfortable) from Punta de Piedra to Cumana. From Cumana the easiest way is to go directly by taxi. (about 30 min.)

- Or you can go by taxi to the "Parada de Mochima" (busstop at Arismendi Square). Every taxi driver in Cumana should know this bus stop. There zou take the bus to Mochima (about 45 min. and moore) You can tell the bus driver that zou vant to go to Posada Girasol. He will drop zou directly at the posada or near by.

(Attention in Cumana: sometimes people mistake Santa Fe for Mochima)

From Puerta la Cruz:

Arrival by ferry: The easiest way is to go by taxi (about 1 hour)

Or you go to the bus terminal. Outside there is a bus stop for the busses to Santa Fe. In Santa Fe zou change busses to Cumana. You will have to tell the bus driver that zou want to go to "Entrada de Mochima". There zou will have to wait for the other bus or another mean of transport (zou should do this only during the day)

In the evenings/at nights you should exclusively use taxis from official taxi companies.
